What a competitor learns from your bills of lading
- 01
Your supplier list is public
Each ocean bill of lading pairs your company name with the overseas shipper, its address and the goods. Import-data sites make it searchable by name.
- 02
So are your volumes and timing
Shipment and container counts, ports and dates show how much you buy, from whom, and when you reorder.
- 03
Their sales team uses it as a lead list
Competitors approach your factories with bigger orders and use your volumes and product mix to go after the same buyers you sell to.
Built for more than one name on the paperwork
Established importers rarely ship under one spelling. A holding company, an operating company, an old name, a DBA, a past address: each is a separate way in. Multi-Entity covers 2–5 legal entities and every variant of each, with your foreign suppliers hidden on the same certification.
Protection covers ocean shipments from approval forward, under the exact names we file. Air and truck shipments aren't covered, and records already published stay online unless removed; removal requests are best-effort.

Questions importers and partners ask
Do our clients have to switch brokers or forwarders?
No. We only handle the manifest confidentiality request and its upkeep. Entries, clearance and freight stay with whoever handles them today.
Who signs the confidentiality request?
The importer. An officer or authorized person of the importing company e-signs the certification; we prepare it and transmit it on their behalf. A broker, forwarder or agency doesn't sign for the client.
We import under several companies. Do we need several plans?
No. Multi-Entity covers 2–5 legal entities with unlimited name variants for each. Six or more is an Enterprise quote. On Starter or Pro, an extra entity is $199 + $99/yr.
Does this cover air and truck shipments?
No. Confidentiality applies to ocean vessel manifests only.
Will past shipments disappear?
No. Protection covers shipments from approval forward, under the exact name spellings filed. Pro and Multi-Entity include removal requests to the top data sites for older records; results depend on each site.
How does the referral fee work?
Partners earn 20% of what each referred client pays us, recurring for as long as that client stays. Tracking and payment timing are set out in the partner terms, which we confirm in writing before your first referral.
